Effect of Filtration Media covered membrane treatment on pressure loss of bag Dust Collector

Polaris Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Network News: abstract: using PTFE film and uncoated treatment of polyphenylene sulfide nonwoven filter material, The influence of filtration speed and filter time on the pressure loss of dust collector is tested and analyzed by the filter media performance measurement and control system. The experimental results show that the pressure loss of dust collector increases with the increase of filter speed and dust accumulation. Under the same fan frequency, the filter media coated membrane will reduce the gas flow rate and reduce the filtration speed, and at the same filtration speed, the filtration resistance of the membrane coated filter media is greater than that of the uncoated membrane filter material.

Bag dust collector is a kind of high efficiency industrial dust removal equipment. Its pressure loss is the flow resistance of air flow through bag dust collector, which determines the energy consumption, filtration efficiency and ash removal period of the dust removal system [1], including the structural resistance of the equipment and the filtration resistance. The main influencing factors are as follows: structure of dust collector, filter bag characteristic, filter speed, dust characteristic, ash cleaning method and flue gas temperature [2-5] .Zhao Youjun et al [6] studied the relationship between filter structure, filter medium resistance and filtration speed; Ding Jiandong et al. [7] explored the relationship between filter cake layer resistance and filtration speed and back blowing velocity. [8] the change of dust deposition thickness and pressure loss was studied. The advantage of good cleaning effect is widely used in the filtration industry, but the disadvantage of membrane mulching is that the pressure loss will be increased. In this paper, the effect of PTFE membrane treatment on the pressure loss is studied by using the filter media performance measurement and control system. The relationship between filtration speed and dust deposition and pressure loss is also explored.
